THE FOLLOWING CONTAMINANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT ANY LEVEL:  

  • Large metal items, such as pipes, hammers, rods from recycling totes, etc.;

  • Batteries, electronic waste, circuit boards, etc.;

  • Containers which held oils, grease, pesticides, herbicides, flammable, corrosive or reactive products;

  • Medical and hazardous waste;

  • Miscellaneous waste, such as wood, textiles, etc.; and

  • Cardboard endcaps (consider wrapping with stretch wrap for HDPE or film bales or using corrugated plastic for #3-7 mixed plastic bales).
